Full Job Description

  • Ensure all the children's physical, emotional and developmental needs are met.

  • Identify and accurately record children's developmental progress.

  • Carry out effective activity planning in line with nursery policies in order to provide the children with stimulating activities appropriate to their age and individual ability.

  • Maintain safe and clean surroundings at all times and follow health and safety and fire procedures.

    MINIMUM CCPLD L2 (or equivalent) qualification.

  • 1 year experience in an early years setting.

  • Flexible and reliable with a "can do, will do" approach to your work - cheerful and enthusiastic.

  • Good organisational skills.

  • Able to do your job to a high standard with little supervision or intervention from management.

  • Friendly and welcoming approach to parents, colleagues and children., You MUST have a minimum Level 2 CHILDCARE qualification (not health & social care) - please do not continue with this application if you do not.

    £11.85 - £12.25/hour
