Full Job Description

We currently have a brand new, exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join us at our site in Derby on a hybrid working basis.

As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry Customers are at the heart of our business.

As a Project Manager you will initially work closely with our main customer on new business introduction and implementation projects with scope to broaden the role with other end-to-end supply chain and customer operations projects within the first 18 months.

This varied role will see you initially take on managerial responsibility for one person with the intention to increase the size of the team in the near future.

You will be expected to travel between our sites in Derby and Mirfield (West Yorkshire) as well as travel overseas to other areas of the EMEA and APAC regions when necessary.

You will have at least 5 years experience in a Project role, perhaps as a Project Manager or Program Manager and will have previous experience managing people.

Having a Project Management qualification isn't necessary but would be desirable.

Ideally you will have experience working in either a manufacturing, supply chain, aerospace or logistics environment. Previous experience working with and influencing suppliers is also essential.

You will have a natural ability to build and develop excellent working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Additionally, you will be able to challenge a customer where necessary whilst still maintaining positive relationships.

Starting salary between £45,000 and £50,000 dependent on experience
