    The role

    Working as part of a vibrant and supportive team in a fast-paced environment, the PR Account Manager will be a fully rounded marketing professional.

    The PR Account Manager will provide hands-on support for account managers, as well as building their commercial knowledge.

    Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for specific clients, building excellent relations with those clients and managing their PR and communications needs

  • Planning, managing and delivering all aspects of their PR and communications requirements within an agreed amount of time and to an agreed timeframe

  • To create PR and communications strategies for clients, bespoke to each client's needs and their target customers, choosing and using the right tools for them

  • Effectively handling client objections and points of potential project failure to deliver a satisfactory result with agreed goals and course of action

  • Confident presentation of project concepts, strategies, objectives and expected outcomes to clients and the internal Plinkfizz team

  • Undertaking all duties necessary to deliver such strategies and PR and communications objectives, utilising the agreed tools in a strategic and measurable way

  • Supporting with crisis communications requirements as required

  • The ability to create excellent content and then share this content through tools such as social media, websites, editorials, advertising, newsletters, brochures, awards, etc - plus a range of other online and offline tools

  • Co-ordinating and managing suppliers for those clients e.g. designers and printers to deliver promotional material to deadlines

  • Manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.

  • To compile reports in line with agreed client KPIs

  • Where appropriate, with other staff or individually, manage/attend events as a representative of Plinkfizz

  • Management of delivery team members

  • To assist Plinkfizz with all clients and in all areas of business as necessary, Demonstrate competencies as detailed in the PR Account Manager role and responsibilities

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities for prospects in line with company onboarding process and ability to effectively service

  • Upsell additional services to existing clients

  • Manage and lead a team of PR and communications professionals, providing constructive critique in a formal and informal manner, documenting as appropriate

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients, clients' industries products and services

  • Analyse and report on campaign performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for optimisations

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Actively monitor project risks and scope to foresee and identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them.

  • Identify needs that clients may not recognise and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve problems and consistently drive KPI-led results for Plinkfizz and its clients

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver award-winning campaigns that are channel-neutral, and designed to achieve maximum KPI-led results, regardless of tactic

  • Seek out new and innovative ways to achieve client campaign KPIs

  • Make decisions confidently with evidenced rationale

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Identify requirements for and carry out continual learning, development and upskilling in line with market changes and client demands

  • Identify and attend relevant industry events, conferences and trade shows to network and stay up to date on trends and best practices

  • Address client issues and have difficult conversations internally and externally

  • Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to clients, team members and directors on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly

  • Supporting the directors in decision making and carrying out of duties

    Working as part of a vibrant and supportive team in a fast-paced environment, the PR Account Manager will be a fully rounded communications professional with experience of working within a team of marketing and digital content specialists., Excellent attention to detail, grammatical knowledge and understanding of the English language

  • Precise quality control of all project deliverables and assets

  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell additional services to existing clients

  • Retain and build on current number of clients and services provided

  • Lead and mentor the PR and Content team, Relevant degree and/or professional accreditation would be an advantage

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience, at least 3 years of that experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on project management experience with ability to manage competing projects, priorities and deadlines

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

  • Prior experience in a marketing agency or a related field is a plus., Relevant degree and/or professional accreditation would be an advantage

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience, at least 3 years of that experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role

  • Minimum 4 years hands-on project management experience with ability to manage competing projects, priorities and deadlines

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.
