The transfer/movement of patients in all areas within the Trust Post room services Clinical and non-clinical waste collection Movement of specimens, samples and pathology items General furniture and equipment movement within the Trust Movement of deceased patients Medical gas service Assist in looking for missing patients Escort duties for staff, patients and visitors Delivery and collection of clean and dirty linen Assist security in untoward incidents Clean wheelchairs, trolleys, and equipment under the control of the Portering department To drive Trust vehicles if required Ad-hoc tasks as may be required from time to time
