Full Job Description

I am a physically disabled wheelchair-user lady in her 50s in the Sawley area, NG10. I am looking for a personal assistant/carer to join my small team of staff immediately, you will be working 15 hours a week and will need to have flexibility to provide sickness and holiday cover. Required to help with using ceiling track hoists, assisting going to the toilet, light housework and meal preparation. Excellent rate of pay of £14.00 per hour. All PPE and training provided. Flexibility is essential." Additional hours to cover holidays and sickness will be discussed at interview.,

  • Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.

  • Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.

  • Assist with household chores and general homemaking.

  • Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.

  • Bladder and bowel care.


  • The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

    You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.

    Full driving licence is essential as the role requires you to drive the employer's vehicle, for insurance purpose you must be 25.,

  • Tuesday, 5.00pm to 10.00pm

  • Wednesday, 5.00pm to 10.00pm

  • Thursday, 5.00pm to 10.00pm
