Full Job Description

Working with MHM's successful and dedicated People and Organisational Development Team, you will work alongside a small team of People Advisors and People Business Partners in the delivery of proactive people activity. We are hugely proud of the work our services deliver and the impact our colleagues make to people's lives, and everything we do as a People Team is with the people who access our services in mind.

We are seeking someone to support our colleagues and management community in providing an efficient, effective, and customer-oriented people service in a truly generalist role. You will also support with all aspects of the employee life cycle, with a focus on employee relations activity, TUPE processes, redundancy and change management processes, attendance management, and performance management.

There is significant scope to be involved in a variety of People Projects including; delivery of our Management Development Programme, IiP project, Wellbeing programme, and systems implementation project. We also actively encourage participation in our professional networks which include EDI and Sustainability committees.

You will have people focused approach and be able to demonstrate our values of being compassionate, proud, accountable and collaborative in your work. This approach will be underpinned with a solid understanding of employment law. You will need to be able to work independently and use your initiative to make well informed decisions and proactively solve problems.

You will be competent at managing a number of people priorities and processes simultaneously. You must be able to quickly adapt to a changing situations, and work at pace to ensure projects meet the required timescales.

You will need to be able to build positive relationships quickly; having the ability and confidence to build credibility and trust with a range of stakeholders, advising with confidence on people processes. You will also have good attention to detail and be IT literate.
