Are you an experienced Payroll professional excited by the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment? Are you driven by delivering the highest standards of advice to line managers and employees? We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Liverpool on a Fixed Term Contract basis and help us keep the world moving!
Your Role
Working as part of the Payroll team, you will respond promptly to Payroll related queries within agreed Service Level Agreements and deliver the highest standard of advice to line managers and employees. You will liaise with the Payroll and Benefits Manager to ensure weekly payroll information, including timesheet and flexible benefits adjustments, is submitted error free in a timely manner with a 'right first time' approach. You will support the weekly payroll team with all BAU activities whilst a project is undertaken to implement a Time and Attendance system for the weekly workforce.
Processing new starters and changes to terms and conditions, you will maintain electronic employee data using SAP SuccessFactors ensuring it is accurate and up to date. Acting as the first point of contact for all weekly payroll related queries, you will respond promptly and professionally, escalating any complex queries to the Payroll and Benefits Manager.
You will be fully up to date of all Company policies and procedures to deliver the highest standards of Payroll advice to employees, whilst ensuring all Payroll records and information is filed appropriately and in line with GDPR legislation.

You will have previous experience processing weekly Payrolls combined with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload effectively. You will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English, grade 'C' or above.
You will have excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment whilst ensuring accuracy of work and have a 'right first time' approach.
