Paralegal

You will work with fee earners, who conduct the majority of legal work. You will maintain your own case load and will be supervised on an ongoing basis, but are expected to be experienced in taking the initiative to progress and complete matters within given time frames.

Key Responsibilities

- Understanding Mayfair Legal work ethos, clientele, standards and long term goals.

- Providing legal support to the team and responsible for casework.

- Handling UK Immigration applications such as Visit Visa, naturalisation, British passport, Sponsor Licence and Skilled Worker applications.

- Assisting team in drafting cover letters and online forms.

- Communicating with existing and prospective clients on a daily basis and updating the team on all communications.

- Administrative tasks such as photocopying, posting documents, attending phone calls and diary management, when required.

- Maintaining immigration files.

- Drafting letters, emails to clients and preparing for client meetings.

• Educated at Bachelors or Masters Level from a UK university.



• Experience in UK Immigration law is advantageous.



• Ability to speak and write Mandarin Chinese at business level is essential.



• Experience in Chinese social media i.e WeChat.



• The ability to work under pressure.



• Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English and Chinese.
