Full Job Description

As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You'll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.

  • Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.

  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice - working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly

  • Building longstanding relationships - not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community


  • What you'll need to have
  • Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist

  • Additional registration with the relevant NHS body

  • Passion for patient care

    This store is part of a HUB of 6 stores, who all work together to deliver the best customer service available, Being able to be part of a HUB brings a wealth of experience to the team and provides a framework for success. The store team works with Boots UK to provide an all round healthcare service to our patients and we have a culture to care for each and every customer like they were family.


  • This is a part time position ideally working Sundays 10.00-4.00pm, Mondays 9.00-5.30pm, Tuesdays 9.00-5.30pm

    We have a team of 10, including 1 CLO, 1 DO and 2 resident Optometrists with 3 testing rooms and 1 phoropter.
