OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

BAND 5

Term time (190 days) + 4 weeks

5 days per week (37.5 hours)

Pro-rata salary: £26,149 to £31,833 per annum

Wargrave House School (ages 5 - 16) & Ascent College (ages 16 - 25) operate a non-maintained special school and independent specialist college with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding education and care to young people with Autism. We are the first national provider to receive Beacon status from the National Autistic Society.

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Occupational Therapist who wishes to develop their skills in this interesting and challenging field, to join our team.

Are you dynamic, committed and flexible with an interest in working and developing skills in a specialist well resourced setting?

Do you the ability to complete assessments, facilitate 1:1 and group sessions to develop fine motor, gross motor, sensory motor skills and functional / life skills?

Do you have experience of, or passion for working with autistic individuals and/or children or adults with learning disabilities?

Would you like to be involved in promoting independent autistic lives in a education setting?

Are you committed to you own professional development?
