Full Job Description

The purpose of the role will be to ensure the continuity of the critical IT services supporting the manufacturing operations, outside of the core business hours and across two sites. Ensuring Lotus manufacturing are provided with timely/effective resolution of incidents. The role will also be expected to provide proactive support to prevent future incidents, and to support the overall IT function as needs be.

What you'll do:

  • Management of IT Service incidents to resolution

  • Liaison with specialist support organisations

  • IT Service management input to new requirements and technologies, for consideration at Lotus

  • Technical input for system maintenance and outage

  • Implementation of IT Change requests

  • Adherence to IT Service processes and procedures

  • Adherence to IT Change processes and procedures

  • Adherence to IT Security processes and procedures

  • Support documentation for BAU take-on

  • Technical configuration and management of network and security equipment/systems

  • Fault Diagnosis and Management of Issues to Resolution

  • Network Support, Administration and Monitoring

  • Security systems and products Support, Administration and Monitoring

  • Technical input to new requirements and technologies, for consideration at Lotus

  • Technical approval for system maintenance and outages


  • What you'll bring:
  • Professional IT Network qualification Cisco CCNA etc

  • Network core and edge device configuration, including WiFi APs and controllers(Cisco).

  • Network monitoring tools(PRTG)

  • Specialist security products including Next Gen Firewalls and AV.

  • VoIP Systems

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Networking/connectivity support

  • Experience in administering IT systems, providing 2nd/3rd line support

  • Experience in coordinating incident resolution with internal and external partners
