Full Job Description
- Greet patients and guests that enter the office
- Answer and direct phone calls as appropriate
- Schedule appointments and provide information about services
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and verify insurance benefits
- Perform receptionist duties such as taking patient calls, answering emails, and providing information (e.g., schedule appointments, collect payments, verify insurance benefits)
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing documents
- Assist with office operations as needed
Previous experience in a medical office or other healthcare setting preferred but not required. - Knowledge of medical terminology (e.g., ICD-10) is preferred but not required.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred but not required.
- Proven customer support skills.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
