Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an Event Medic to join our event medical team. You will be attached to Devon AmbFAS but may be asked to support other group members.
Opportunities will be strictly on an ad-hoc basis, based on our need and demand, and subject to negotiation, when operational undertaking paid activity you will be working on a self employed basis.
As a Level 3 Event Medic, you will play a crucial role in supporting the provision of event medical care to a high standard i n various event settings throughout the SW Peninsular.
You will have an understating of triage, a basic knowledge of critical care and the ability to perform physical examinations, at times working under pressure,

Duties:
- Perform triage and assess patients' medical conditions
- Provide emergency medical treatment in line with your skill level.
- Work in support of and as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Conduct physical examinations to evaluate patients' health status
- Monitor patients' vital signs and record medical information accurately.
- May be required to assist in transporting patients to hospitals or other healthcare facilities when necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Valid certification at FREC3 or equivalent.

Note: This position is classed as "hybrid" with a combination of paid work [first six hours] and volunteering, of up to two hours per shift.
Example - Eight four shift [on site] paid for the first six hours then two hours as a volunteer.
