Full Job Description
- Assisting Senior Stylists with various tasks
- Learning and practicing hairdressing techniques
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the Salon
- Providing excellent customer service
- Cleaning and tidying salon
- Greeting clients
- Making drinks
- Shampooing client's hair
- Advising clients on shampoos, conditioners and treatments
- Assisting and observing stylists, when a certain level of skill and understanding has been gained, the tasks will gradually increase to things like applying colours, blow drying, styling etc.
Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals - Hairdressing - Functional skills in maths and English if required, Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Physical fitness, Enthusiasm, Willingness, Reliable, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) Desired
- training
- qualifications, like an NVQ in a relevant field

Day to day tasks include:
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) Desired, You must have a realistic idea of what it is like to work as an apprentice in the hairdressing industry and must be willing to help out with tasks such as cleaning and reception. You need to be willing to work Saturdays and at least one late evening before applying for the position as this is a requirement when working in the hairdressing industry., Hairdressing professional
