Full Job Description

This is a full-time position 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays (opening hours 9-4) with no out-of-hours or bank holidays. Ensuring you maintain a great work-life balance. Pudsey is located just outside of Leeds in suburban West Yorkshire.

At Pudsey, we pride ourselves on our long-established practice, interesting and varied caseload, and our very pleasant clients. We have a high percentage of insured patients, ensuring you can work up and treat your patients effectively. The ideal candidate should have experience of working in the UK with excellent communication skills to continue to provide the services our clients are used to. You should also want to help mentor more junior Veterinary Surgeons and have a sound understanding of practice finances, with a drive to grow the practice. There is a partnership opportunity for the right person.

The successful candidate should be confident with all routine surgeries and have experience with advanced soft tissue and orthopaedics, including cruciate surgery, as we do the majority of these procedures in-house. Ideally you would hold a surgical certificate, (although we will consider other certifications) as one of our partners is looking to reduce her caseload. We expect all of our veterinarians to practice evidence-based medicine to ensure our clients receive the best care possible., Sharing our passion and commitment for high standards, will ensure you thrive within this role.
