Our Trust consists of nine secondary schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We passionately believe in our mission to provide our students with opportunities and experiences to enhance their life choices, and our values of ambition, teamwork and honesty.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Governance Professional for our Trust Board and to oversee governance across the Trust to support our school-based Governance Professionals and continue our successful governance journey.

Managing governance and overseeing compliance is the order of the day. Working with our Executive, Middle Leadership and Governance Teams you will be central to developing and embedding great governance practices.

To secure this role you need successful experience as a Governance Professional within the secondary sector, the knowledge that goes with that role, and the ability to support, guide and advise a team of school-based governance colleagues. You will need to be confident with the governance framework and the Academies Trust Handbook and able to contribute to the ongoing development of our Trust through your membership of our Middle Leadership Team.

This role is hybrid role with a balance of working from home and the Trust's office in Ashfield. Some travel to our schools will be required on an ad-hoc basis.
