Full Job Description

Working underneath our Modelling Team Lead and Deputy Head of Powertrain, we'll help you build the skills and knowledge for you to take ownership of:

  • Simulation framework development.

  • Modelling verification and unit testing.

  • Powertrain component models and correlation.

  • Flight and Rig test data analysis.

  • Interfacing with vehicle level simulation and Pilot in the Loop simulator.

  • Working closely with Aerodynamics team to develop novel cooling solutions.

  • Work closely with key tier-one aerospace suppliers.

    Exceptional academic performance within Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, Systems, or Computer Engineering or related engineering field

  • Ideal candidates will have completed a Master's or PhD, although undergraduates with relevant degrees will also be considered.

  • You will be a recent graduate or have completed at most 1-2 years of post-education experience within a commercial environment.

  • Some experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape.

  • An understanding of Thermodynamic principles.

  • Critical mindset, capable of grounding approaches in first principles and academic research.

  • Eagerness to learn new concepts and methods, design experiments independently, and execute them.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and a drive to contribute to innovative projects.
