Hotel Conference & Events Team Leader

We are currently looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for fantastic service and impeccable standards to join us as a Team Leader in our Conference Food & Beverage team at Alton Towers Resort

You could be working at dance events, company fun days, corporate away days and more.

Your Responsibilities:

• Communicating with Conference Organisers, Security and at times a large team


• Checking the detail of events and making sure everything is in place


• Taking charge of service making sure everything runs smoothly


• Ensuring you and your team are working in a hygienic and professional manner whilst maintaining the highest standards at all times


• Organising your team to be effective on a daily basis, with multiple events taking place at the same time.


• Inspiring and mentoring your team, helping them reach their full potential


• Driving operational excellence across the Conference Centre and hotels.


• Ensuring a great set up and close down of areas


• Leading by example, this a hands-on role so don't be afraid to roll up your sleeves
  
  Previous supervisory experience is desirable


• Experience of working in a F&B or catering environment


• A genuine passion for providing mind blowing customer service and unforgettable guest experience


• Ability to lead and manage teams and projects


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive even when the pressure is on


• Flexibility in availability is essential and you must be available for early starts and late finishes


• We need people with a can-do attitude, but who also like to have fun


• Due to the nature of this role you must be over 18
