Full Job Description

HGV Class 1 driver duties:

  • Maintain professional standards where representing MDL on delivery and collection

  • Carryout pre-use checks prior to using any equipment / vehicle

  • Report and H&S issues or defects to MDL management teams

  • Ensure your vehicle is loaded safely & correctly at all times

  • Check & complete all paperwork such as, POD & Delivery

  • Ensure returned goods are managed by the correct process at all times

  • Provide relevant feedback to management

  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness

  • Ability to work a Night Out wherever possible

    At least 6 months driving experience

  • Ability to adhere to H&S legislastion

  • Comply with EU driver hours, Tachograph limits & WTD regulations

  • No more than 6 points & no DD/DR endorsements

  • Hold valid C+E license

  • Ability to pass driving assesment

    Menzies Distribution are looking for a number of HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Featherstone, WF7 . You'll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.
