Full Job Description

Job Description: As the Head of Product and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our product portfolio and ensuring operational excellence across the organisation. You will lead a team responsible for customer delivery and quality assurance. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the advancement of assistive technologies and positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities., Product Strategy and Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with the company's vision and market trends.


  • Work with strategic partners in the ideation, design, and development of innovative assistive technologies.


  • Conduct market research, co-production and gather customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product launches.


  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of Customer Delivery


  • Optimize processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.


  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.


  • Work with the CFO to Implement best practices for inventory management and distribution to meet customer demand.


  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the customer delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.


  • Set clear goals and objectives for team members, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.


  • Identify talent gaps and develop training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.


  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of product and operational strategies.


  • Serve as a key liaison between product development and commercialisation teams, driving seamless transitions from product design to market launch.


  • Actively participate in executive-level discussions and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.

    Proven track record of leadership in product management, operations management, or related roles, preferably in the healthcare or assistive technology industry.


  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen, with the ability to develop and execute product and operational strategies that drive growth and profitability.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, talent development, and performance management.


  • Deep understanding of business processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance principles.


  • Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with disabilities and a commitment to driving innovation in assistive technologies., Operations management: 3 years (preferred)
