Full Job Description

The role of the Guillotine Operator will responsible for the day to day cutting requirements of the leaflet department, working in conjunction with the Planner and team leaders to meet production / customer requirements. To meet all production throughput in line with production requirements,

  • Assist the Production Manager in the efficient and effective running of the guillotine process, identifying opportunities to improve the systems and processes.

  • Manage their daily workload to prevent downtime on the folding machines.

  • Inspect printed material prior to, and during, the cutting process. Highlight any anomalies to a Team Leader or manager.

  • Maintain effective liaisons with all members of the Management Team.

  • Follow all company processes and procedures in accordance with company Quality Manual, ISO 9001:2000, PS 9000 and GMP.

  • Assist to meet production targets as set by the Production Manager and assist to complete all the relevant company paperwork.

  • Conform to the company's Health and Safety Policy, bringing to your managers attention any areas of risk

  • Carry out general duties as directed by the department supervisor/manager and effectively work within your team, assisting your colleagues where needed.

  • Any other relevant duties as and when required.

  • Health and safety awareness is a paramount skill.

  • A high level of attention to detail.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
