Full Job Description

  • Servicing

  • Vehicle Maintenance

  • Observing and assisting technicians

  • Repair of light vehicles

  • Routine servicing to electrical fault diagnostics.

  • Servicing - working to manufacturer servicing guidelines to ensure vehicle running at optimum performance

  • Maintenance - replacing parts that have wear and tear before they fail

  • Repair - diagnosing the reason for vehicle failure and fixing the problem


  • The training you will be getting

  • Motor Vehicle Level 3 qualification.

  • Attending the Henry Ford Academy on block release every 6-8 weeks.

  • Regular Skills coach visitis every 28 days.

  • Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU's 2014 F-gas regulation.

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, GCSE or equivalent English and Maths (Grade 4+) Essential

    A full-time career within the automotive industry with many opportunities to progress to positions of responsibility including a Service Manager, Master Technician and Dealership Principles., Peoples Ford is a dealer group based across Liverpool and Scotland. They have new and used Ford cars and vans for sale across their dealerships. Peoples Ford also offers servicing, including annual & interim servicing, service plans, tyres, mobile servicing, essential servicing and Transit servicing. Other services include Ford Advantage, Privilege and Motability, with some Peoples Ford dealerships sometimes having other makes and models for sale too.
