Farm Administrator

We are recruiting a Farm Administrator to assist the management team in the day-to-day running of our farming enterprises. Working with the Arable and Fruit Managers, you will be responsible for ensuring that agricultural records and reports are kept up to date and available as required.

This is a broad and varied role with exposure to all aspects of our farming business, and therefore tasks vary based on seasonality, internal and external reporting requirements, and audit timetables. It would ideally suit someone with a good knowledge of practical farming.

Responsibilities include:

· Maintain accurate farm records including periodic reconciliation between systems.

· Coordination of compliance reporting to ensure that our records and procedures are kept up to date and available for 3rd party audits (Red Tractor, Leaf, BRC, SEDEX).

· Production of reports as required to assist management teams.

· Administrative support to the accounts team and payroll, including invoice processing.

· Being a key role in a small team, we particularly value flexibility to support other team members as needed.

· Great attention to detail and accuracy.

· Highly organized, managing own workload.

· Flexible, adaptable team player.

· Excellent IT skills, and able to learn and use various software packages.

· Good communication and influencing skills.,

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Agriculture: 1 year (preferred)


• Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
