Equipment Cleaner / Kitchen Porter

We are looking for equipment cleaner/kitchen porter to work in our busy warehouse performing the following duties:

• Cleaning crockery, cutlery, glass and catering equipment particularly ovens, fridges, hot cupboards and other electrical and gas equipment
  
  Previous experience in warehousing or working in a commercial kitchen as a kitchen porter or pot washer, Able to work within a team and independently to meet multiple deadlines


• Demonstrate a reasonable level of written and verbal communication skills in English, so able to understand instructions and perform tasks


• Ability to work accurately and methodically, dealing with counting and numbers


• Adaptability


• High organisational skills towards tasks


• Punctual and flexible approach to tasks and duties, Are you able to work until the end of August?, Kitchen porter (or similar): 1 year (preferred)
  
  Jongor Hire have been supplying the event and hospitality industry with catering equipment for over 40 years, so it's fair to say we know what we're doing! Our catering equipment is thoroughly cleaned and tested before every hire and our tableware is perfectly hand polished, ready to lay up at an event. That's where these roles come in!
  
  During June and July all staff are required to work additional hours, usually Monday to Saturday, 7.30am - 6pm


• Hours worked over 40 is paid at x 1.25


• Weekend working and bank holiday working is paid at x 1.5
