Enterprise Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR UK LIMITED

This apprenticeship is the Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician programme with our fantastic client Flex - E- Rent Enterprise at Essex-RM20 3BJ. The right candidate will work alongside Enterprise's Technicians, receiving extensive training in maintaining and servicing Heavy vehicles., There is a lot involved in keeping HGVs on the road, so you will gain a full understanding of the importance of 6-week checks, Operators (O) license's and legal obligations and as a Technician apprentice, you will receive training to the manufacturer and DVSAs standard

The Heavy Vehicle Technician's job falls into three main categories:

• Servicing - regular preventive checks


• Maintenance - replacing any parts showing signs of wear and tear


• Repairs - repair or replacing anything damaged or faulty


Responsibilities for this role will include, but will not be limited to:


• Working on a wide range of commercial vehicles in all aspects of repair and service


• Use of diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults


• Working with Lead Technicians on more complex and extensive diagnostic and repair tasks


• Assisting with keeping the workshop clean and tidy, Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release to Remit's Automotive Academy in Derby. There are a total of 15 x 1 week blocks over the 3 year programme. The costs of hotel accommodation, food and travel are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you.
