Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 to join the Clinical Digital Nursing and Professions Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Business-as-Usual aspect of our Trust's IT Clinical Systems and will give ward/departmental based training as needed.
This role will be based across the UHD footprint to support the Digital Lead Nurse in providing the link between the clinical environment and IT.
We are looking for someone with an interest in IT Clinical Systems and experience in clinical engagement, to help support end-users in clinical areas.
The role will include:
+ delivering system overviews, including demonstrations.
+ providing support at engagement events., + Providing advice and practical support on the day to day management of the IT Clinical systems whilst ensuring end users fully understand the clinical relevance of the implemented system and the implications for clinical practice., Our values define who we are as #TeamUHD. Recruiting Managers interviewing for this role will be happy to answer any specific questions that you have at interview, + Direct clinical support to facilitate the learning of IT Clinical systems; the post holder will assist in ensuring that compliance data reported is utilised to maximise the benefits to Patient Care and Service Delivery
+ Working closely with Clinical Leads and their ward staff, Clinicians and Allied Healthcare Professionals to effectively manage the clinical support and 'business as usual' use of IT clinical systems
+ Working in partnership; the post holder will play a pivotal role in ensuring a collaborative approach to embedding IT clinical systems and using them to maximise benefit
+ Deliver staff training on the existing IT Clinical systems in various formats.
