EARLY YEARS NURSERY PRACTITIONER

PART TIME

Do you have a passion for the Early Years and believe in a child centred approach where our youngest children can thrive, learn and grown? Then this is the role for you!

We welcome applications from Nursery Practitioners who would like to join our friendly team. Our Nursery class is for 3-4 years old and forms part of our Pre-Prep for pupils aged 2-7 years of age. In addition to our well-resourced Nursery, our pupils have the opportunity to take part in activities including ballet, Saints Football, cookery, swimming, Forest School and trips to the local area. Our days are filled with fun, adventures and play.

We operate with a staff ratio of 1:6.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.

Previous experience working in a childcare setting, preferably within a nursery environment.

Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development. Secure communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Ability to use initiative, be adaptable, and work effectively in a welcoming environment.

Knowledge of Early Years frameworks and regulations.

The core hours of work are 12.15pm – 4.00pm, Monday – Friday.

There are additional, flexible hours for the successful candidate who wishes to extend their hours for ‘wraparound care’ between 4.00-6.00pm.

Provision is term time only, with the added option to work during our Holiday Camps which run for 5 weeks of the year.
