Full Job Description

Greenacre Orthodontics is an accredited North Wales Training academy practice. There are excellent opportunities for career progression. If necessary, the successful candidate will be supported to obtain further qualifications and experience. We are currently supporting one nurse as a trainee orthodontic therapist and another to obtain their orthodontic nursing qualification. We have supported our current nurse team members in developing and using additional skills, such as impression taking and radiography. We run an impression taking course worth £180 that our nurses can attend for free.

The clinical team consists of three consultant orthodontists, two specialist orthodontists and three orthodontic therapists (one in training). We have an excellent case mix and use a range of appliances including Invisalign, metal and ceramic braces. We have a fully computerised set-up, including an intra-oral scanner.

Sustainability isn't just a buzzword for us; it's a practice. Our efforts have been acknowledged through achieving the Greener Primary Care Wales Gold award 2023, and, we were finalists in the Private Dentistry Awards 2023, highlighting our dedication to being an eco-friendly practice. There is ample outdoor space for staff to enjoy, particularly in the summer months.

No previous orthodontic nursing experience is needed, training will be provided.,

  • Qualified Dental Nurse

  • CQC / HIW compliance

    Part time / full time. There will be a requirement for periodic evening and Saturday sessions.


  • Salary dependant on experience.

    The practice is located a 20 minute drive from the centre of Chester or an 8 minute train journey from Chester train station to our nearest station (an 8 minutes walk from the practice)! There is free, on site parking for staff, we have a team member of the month award, team building events and several practice social events in the calendar year, including evenings out.
