Cyber & SOC Engops Engineer

You will be part of a team operating systems to support Vodafone's secure SOC. This is a hybrid "EngOps" role, building and managing SOC/SIEM systems, and providing 3rd line technical support to SOC analysts. Experience and knowledge of SIEM, databases, Log/Event collection systems and SOC processes are key., Implement and maintain SOC infrastructure - Analyst systems, SIEM, Databases (event, threat, IOC…), Log/Event Collection systems and agents

• Support customer deployments, user acceptance testing


• Investigate complex security events and perform Incident Handling activity as necessary


• Provide in-depth IT / Network support to SOC Analysts
  
  Experience of working as an IT/Network Engineer, ideally in an telecoms/ISP/SOC environment


• Knowledge of a wide range of security technologies, including SIEM, HIDS, Proxies (Cisco WSA/ESA)


• IT Systems - Windows, Linux, VMWare, SQL Databases


• Scripting - Python
