Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief of Staff to work closely with the Vice-Chancellor to provide senior advisory support on strategic, complex, and sensitive issues in relation to the running of the University, help coordinate the work of the senior team, and liaise with the wider University community.

Key duties of the role include providing high-level executive support for the Vice-Chancellor and Executive Team, and developing and implementing University level strategic projects. You will also develop new and existing relationships including the University's internal and external constituents, local and regional stakeholders, and regional and national governmental groups/bodies, maximising opportunities to influence public policy debate and higher education policy.

With substantial experience of working with senior management in higher education, you will have experience of managing budgets as well as providing high quality policy advice. You will be a fluent writer and communicator, that is comfortable working with complex data.
