Chef

Due to retirement, Woodside Golf Club in Cranage requires a Full Time Chef . Duties include preparing and serving bistro style food in our busy brasserie. Our menus are updated seasonally and the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to adapt and develop our current menus to their own style and skillset

Have at least 2-3 years relevant experience in a bistro, hotel or restaurant setting

have full knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH and be qualified to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent

be able to produce high quality food

ensure adequate stock rotation is adhered to

Assist with menu planning , inventory and management of supplies

have good communication skills and be able to work well both as part of a team and independently.

This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week to include weekends. Usual working hours will be approximately 9am-4pm during the week and 9am-5pm at weekends. During pre booked functions and peak seasons, such as Christmas, overtime will be required to cover some evenings.
