Full Job Description

As a Catering Supervisor for our hospitality suite at East Riding Crematorium , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that families and guests receive warm and attentive service during memorial gatherings and receptions.

We are seeking an individual who loves to deliver an excellent client service, are highly detail-orientated, and grasp the importance of following best practices and compliance procedures.

Here is what a typical day could look like for you:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hospitality suite.

  • Preparation of serving food and drinks.

  • Deliver high standards of housekeeping in all areas of the crematorium when required.

  • Comply with food hygiene and safety regulations.

  • Monitor and control stock levels.

  • Preparation of the hospitality suite for each booking whilst considering our client's needs.

  • Liaise with the funeral directors and officiants to ensure the smooth running of each booking in the hospitality suite.

    Has previous experience working in a customer facing role.

  • Committed to the provision of delivering excellent care and client service.

  • A key team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others and contributing to a positive working environment.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and time management skills
