Full Job Description

We're hiring a Casual Cleaning and Caretaking Assistant to support the Brockhole Property team. The role involves supporting the schedule of waste management, carrying out cleaning duties across the site, carrying out basic maintenance, repair and decorating jobs and completing health and safety checks.

You'll work flexibly, providing additional cover such as weekends, during holidays, or busy periods. Working days include weekends and weekdays, from approximately 9am to 6pm.

As part of the Site Property team, you will be reporting to the Site Property Manager in this is a hands on role, helping to deliver a great visitor experience

What will I be doing?

  • Cleaning public and staff areas including toilets

  • Completing basic maintenance involving toilets/taps, woodwork, decorating, clearing gutters/drains etc

  • Facilitating general waste and recycling management including litter picking and emptying bins

  • Completing health and safety checks

  • Facilitating contractor visits

    This opportunity would suit someone who has previous experience in a similar role and has a good level of physical fitness due to the amount of walking and manual handling required for this role.
