Full Job Description

  • Performs staff support activities to develop, implement and administer compensation policies and programs. Formulates recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions and organizational structures.

  • Assist HR Business Partners and Reward Manager with general compensation queries and large change management work. Prepare data to support project work and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock options. May include administration of domestic and/or international programs.

  • Create annual accruals and provide monthly updates for the finance team on various legacy incentive plans.

  • Administer the legacy Inmarsat Recognition programme.

  • Work with payroll to ensure that incentives are paid correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Audits job profiles for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements.

  • Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action.


  • Job Complexity: Works on assignments with moderate scope and complexity with guidance and support from manager/senior team members. Understands and applies common methods to achieve results. Identifies solutions to problems and validates with more senior members of the team/leadership.

    Required Supervision: Works autonomously on routine assignments using more senior team members as a sounding board. Contributes to planning and meeting milestones for project within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate methods.

    Expertise: Continues to develop a understanding of principles and practices within professional discipline and areas of expertise. Using general and some specialized knowledge, applies and enables high-quality principles, to deliver results on-time and in a cost-effective manner. Demonstrates awareness of interrelationships amongst departments.

    Influence: Proactively shares information with other teams to ensure alignment and success. Builds productive relationships and networks beyond immediate team. May lead/guide more junior employees in support of their tasks and projects.

  • 3+ years of relative experience in compensation.

  • Strong data analysis skills with demonstrated ability to draw meaningful conclusions and actions plans through both quantitative and qualitative analyses
