Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an accounting apprenticeship within a growing firm in Maidenhead. The successful candidate will gain valuable practical experience while studying for their AAT qualification before progressing onto ACCA. The role will involve assisting with bookkeeping, VAT, statutory audit & preparation of statutory accounts.

  • Bookkeeping - using Quickbooks, Xero and other packages

  • Preparation of VAT Returns

  • Preparation of Statutor accounts and assistance with Audits

  • Liaising with clients

  • Supporting the accounts team


  • The training you will be getting

  • You will gain AAT level 3

  • Diploma in Accounting


  • The training will be on day release dependant on the classes being run by First Intuition Reading

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 6-9) Desired
    A Level or equivalent Maths and English (Grade A-C) Desired
