ATTENDANCE OFFICER

ALT GRADE E: £24,093 - £25,119 (pro rata)

8.30am - 4.00pm 4 days a week and one day 3.30pm finish = 37 hrs a week

Term time only plus 3 training days

Required for September 2024

This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to work with our current attendance team supporting the improvement of pupil attendance across the primary and secondary phases of education (Reception to Year 11). Good attendance is essential for pupils to be successful, and its monitoring is a key part of safeguarding processes.

The role will also involve meeting and supporting pupils and their families to improve attendance and welfare, referring to and working with other agencies to provide the support needed. The aim will be to increase pupil attendance and engagement with school and improve pupil welfare.
