Full Job Description

As our new AVP of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will provide best-in-class partnership to the business. Hands on with the data and analyses, you'll drive improvements and changes across the business: improving processes, shaping commercial action and ensuring we achieve our targets. With accountability for accurate month-end FP&A processes, you'll interact with stakeholders at all levels of the business to present your findings and shape future direction.

You add value through your relationships with business leaders, earning a position of trust and influence. You'll perform in-depth analysis of both financial and non-financial data, drawing conclusions, and turning this into positive action for the teams to adopt. You'll own and develop complex forecasting models and consolidation tools to lead on scenario testing on key results. You'll present your findings in our monthly finance team meetings.

Acting as a change agent, you'll support the growth of the company's revenue and profit by continuity to build financial and metric reporting capabilities. Partnering with Business Intelligence, you'll advise them of finance's reporting needs and work closely with analysts to improve the quality and scope of their output for the benefit of the FP&A team.,

    After becoming a qualified accountant, you have held roles within financial planning or commercial finance teams. This experience enables you to bring a strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. Your advanced excel and financial modelling skills enables you to analyse and present data accurately and visualise results for stakeholders at various levels across the business. A senior FP&A team member, you nurture a culture of accuracy, continuous improvement and automation.

This clear communication, along with your accuracy and organisational skills, wins trust from your colleagues and leadership team, building great working relationships. You use data to explain what is happening in the business and offer suggestions about what we do next.

You enjoy working in the grey areas and connecting the dots, balancing functional knowledge and expertise with understanding the bigger picture. You're consultative and provide clarity to ensure commercial teams beat their goals!
