Full Job Description

WS Specialist Logistics are searching for an apprentice to assist with general office administration, route planning and customs clearance. You will be trained and supported, learning about the wider business, with opportunity to work in different departments, with a varied and interesting workload., WS Specialist Logistics have a great opportunity for an apprentice to join our team in Immingham. As an Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by assisting in, planning workloads, providing excellent customer service, and handling general administrative tasks. This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience, and specialist knowledge of the transport industry., · Serve as a point of contact for customer enquiries.

· Assist with general administrative tasks such as customs clearance, data entry, filing, and document management.

· Support with planning routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

· Ensuring ongoing communication between drivers, customers and depots.

· Prepare and maintain transportation-related records, including driver logs and delivery schedules.

· All other associated duties as required, WS Specialist Logistics is based on Kiln Lane Trading Estate in Stallingborough. Please check the location and ensure you would be able to travel to work on a daily basis.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the transportation industry.

· Enthusiasm for pursuing a career in transport logistics and operations.

Working week

  • Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30, with some flexibility over start/finish time.

  • Total hours per week: 40
