Full Job Description

The role holder has responsibility for carrying out Service Desk Call logging, first line support of in-house applications, and completion of assigned tasks in relation to IT projects. Ensures the highest overall Health & Safety, environmental and Quality practices and procedures are maintained within the IT Application function of the business.,

  • Support the Group's IT strategy in relation to Applications, ensuring a sound operational basis as approved by appropriate business authorisers.

  • Responsibility for:


  • - ServiceDesk Call Logging.

    - First line in-house applications support.

    - Business requirement documentation and sign off.

    - Support of application upgrades and enhancements.
  • An appreciation of customer needs and how best to articulate how the Group can meet those needs.

  • To ensure that the Group maintains compliance with related statutory and regulatory IT standards.

  • Ensure that IT maintain and enforce AMG Quality standards and procedures relevant within the provision of IT and software services to AMG.

    2:1 degree desirable

  • IT related qualification desirable

  • Analytical skills to identify IT trends and challenges

  • Positive and proactive 'can-do' attitude

  • Able to build and develop effective relationships, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to prioritise, plan and organise efficiently

  • Self-motivated and uses initiative

  • Full driving licence preferred., Bachelor's (preferred)
