Full Job Description

We are now looking for an outstanding Agile Delivery Coach with 2+ years experience of working in an agile delivery role. The role will report to our Agile Lead and will be working alongside cross functional product engineering teams. The individual will work closely with our Product, Customer, Technology and Operations teams to develop collaborative, high performing teams anchored to a culture of continuous improvement.

The key focus of the role will be to provide agile delivery support to product engineering teams, ensuring that they are connected to their problem space, striving for optimal flow and focusing on outcomes and end user value over output. A successful candidate will help set and manage expectations as well as measure and communicate relative team performance to stakeholders.,

  • Present, educate and implement best agile practices within the teams you support which are suitable to their problem space, skills mix and agile maturity.

  • Guide your teams on how to use these agile practices

  • Coach team members and others on best practices

  • Support the creation of iterative plans and adoption of incremental value delivery

  • Facilitate internal & external team communication

  • Facilitate team ceremonies such as iteration planning, refinement and retrospectives

  • Collect and communicate team plans and performance metrics

  • Help teams to apply the most appropriate tools and techniques for their environment and to create efficiencies

  • Grow teams towards increased empowerment and customer-centric value delivery

  • Optimise team efficiency through a variety of suitable tools and techniques

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads to communicate outwards and often with information such as commitments, progress and impediments to stakeholders.

  • Co-create a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised constructively and acted upon.

  • Support teams in setting aspirational, stretch goals routinely, demonstrating high performance and learning from failures in a no blame culture

  • Experience working in a SaaS, product-led development environment

  • An expert in the use and implementation of agile practices

  • Experience and understanding of multiple agile practices, theories and frameworks

  • Which might include but not be limited to Kanban, Scrum, XP, Kaizen., Liberating Structures and Actionable Metrics

  • Experience with practices and techniques such as TDD, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, Pairing

  • Has worked as an Agile Delivery Coach (or similar such as Scrum Master) across multiple, interdependent and remote development teams

  • Excellent communication, coaching and mentoring skills

  • Loves problem solving, seeking out issues and delivering

  • Enthusiastic around personal development; including learning and sharing new tools, techniques and approaches
