Agency Care Assistant

Healthcare Partnerships are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our leading care provider based in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing person-centred care to older individuals, including those with dementia, within a residential support project.

Role Requirements:

- Administering medication in accordance with prescribed instructions.

- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.

- Serving meals and assisting with feeding when necessary.

- Completing domestic tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.

- Organizing and facilitating social activities to promote engagement and wellbeing.

- Handling laundry duties and ensuring clothes are appropriately cleaned and ironed.

- Monitoring and addressing nutritional needs to support overall health and wellbeing.

Other Requirements:

- Provide person-centred care and support, fostering independence among older individuals.

- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality care while upholding the dignity of each individual.

- Follow structured care plans to offer practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.

- Work closely with professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach that meets the identified needs of residents.
