Full Job Description

  • Lead both the Admissions and Customer Support Teams including monitoring of workloads, staff training, appraisals, recruitment, absence tracking and holiday bookings to ensure a quality service is maintained.

  • To ensure that there is efficient and effective support for all customers who contact the College via the helpline, general info email account, livechat or main reception at Deane Road.

  • To ensure customer data is collected and recorded using appropriate systems which link with the work of other College teams.

  • Support the Admissions and Customer Support Manager and the wider MIS team and developers in the continuing development on on-line services.

  • To liaise and work with other College teams and managers to support the achievements of their objectives particularly in relation to providing excellent customer service.

  • Act as first point of escalation for unresolved issues.

    Hold a level 3 diploma in administration or customer service or equivalent

  • Possess a Team Leadership / Management qualification or a willingness to work towards

  • Have the experience to manage, motivate and support a team of staff in customer service/admissions and/or an educational environment

  • Have the skills to extract data and provide useful information to managers
