Full Job Description

  • Answering phones

  • Making appointments, calling patients to book appointments for follow up

  • Liaising with patients face to face in surgery clinic times

  • Signposting

  • Scanning and tagging letters

  • Typing letters

  • Any other general office administration, No day release to college - Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date

  • Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and Maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment

    You will be required to be confident in your telephone manner and computer literate, all training will be provided, and you should remain calm in times of stress or when the practice is busy., Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Administrative skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Non judgemental, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade D/3 or above) Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade D/3 or above) Essential

    GP practice, Warley Road Surgery is located in Oldbury and we have been in practice for over 30 years. We are a family run surgery and believe in patient care and like to get to know our patients personally. We are always providing the best service and monitor are progress with PPG's and as a result of feedback we are currently trying to improve access and are open on Easter Saturday from 9am to 12pm for emergencies We offer a variety of services from Family planning to Chronic Disease Management.
