Full Job Description

  • Efficiently manage the ordering process for necessary items.

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, negotiating rates and terms to ensure optimal deals.

  • Monitor ongoing costs and identify areas for potential savings.

  • Accurately input financial data into our accounting system, Sage, as well as our internal ledgers.

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Assist in other accounting tasks and projects as needed.

  • Maintain organised filing systems

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

    We seek a dynamic individual to join our accounts team as an Accounts Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial operations by handling various procurement-related tasks, supplier communication, cost monitoring, and data entry. While experience with Sage is preferred, it's not mandatory; however, proficiency in any accounting software is advantageous., Prior experience in an accounts/finance role is advantageous but not mandatory

  • A solid understanding of accounting principles.

  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Prior experience with accounting software is a plus, especially Sage.

  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.

  • Able to work with other people when required.

  • Confident in own abilities


  • This role could be ideal for recent school /college leavers, recent graduates or someone with all the knowledge but looking for some experience.

    All candidates are welcome, from little to no experience to those who could have years' worth of experience.

    Full Time (40 hours) / Part Time (25 - 30 hours)
    Monday - Friday (No weekends)
    Hourly Rate: £12 - £15,
