Due to Archants continual expansion plans we have a fantastic new opportunity for a Weddings Account Manager, based at our head office in the heart of Norwich. This exciting, fast-paced role will see you working across a variety of bridal magazines and shows, calling current and potential advertisers and gaining their interest in having an exhibition stand at a show, magazine advertising and/or having a digital presence, e-newsletter or a presence on our very successful bridal app.

Our Weddings team in Norwich have a portfolio of products which include 13 regional Bride magazines, 2 venue guides, 15 one-day wedding shows, 6 two-day wedding shows and 2 wedding planning apps. This amazing portfolio enables us to connect advertisers with thousands of customers across the UK.

You will use your own proactive initiative to create leads and work independently to achieve new client wins and see your advertising revenue increase. Although this is predominantly an office-based telesales role, there are some opportunities to go and meet with potential customers and talk them through the portfolio of choices face to face therefore the need to be able to drive is essential.

It is vital that you know you thrive on picking up the phone and connecting with new clients; that you know you build rapport naturally on the phone and have proven experience of winning and building relationships. You will also excel at consulting, listening, presenting and closing sales.

There is the opportunity to attend the shows at weekends which will prove vital in networking and cementing relationships with clients. There are many shows throughout the year and the minimum requirement is to attend at least four.

You will be used to managing your time effectively, thrive on self-motivation as well as being a great team player. Experience in media, publishing, magazine or newspaper sales would be an advantage.

A strong telephone sales background
A proven consultative sales approach
Innovative and creative advertising ideas
Strong diary management and organisational skills
Ability to manage and develop existing accounts
Drive and passion to win new business
Full valid driving licence
Thirst for achieving and exceeding targets

Basic salary of up to £18k
