Team Leaders, Support Workers and Waking Night Carers needed – Folkestone, Kent

Our client supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in Folkestone, Kent. The people they support are at the centre of everything they do, and they invest in their services to make sure their teams have the resources they need to really make a difference.

Full and part time (flexi) positions are available!!

Team Leaders

A salary of between £15,533 and £18,508 calculated on the basis of age, experience and qualifications and an average of 34 hours per week.

The opportunity to apply to undertake sleep-in shifts, currently paid at a rate of £70.47 per night.

What you will need:

* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) essential, NVQ Level 3 desirable.

* Our client is seeking warm, compassionate people who genuinely care about helping and supporting others, people who see beyond labels and stereotypes and value people as equals no matter their need, identity or disability.

* They need people who enjoy taking responsibility for organising and planning their team’s work and who get a sense of achievement from this.

* They are looking for people with integrity – who are honest and reliable and do not need a good reason to do their very best to help someone in need. Team Leaders need to set the standard and help shape the behaviour and attitude of junior staff.

* They want applicants with experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and, experience of supervising others.

* Their team leaders receive an enhancement to their salary for being part of an on-call service.

Support Workers and Waking Night Carers

Support Workers

A salary of between £13,048 and £17,034 calculated on the basis of your age, experience and qualifications and an average of 34 hours per week.

The opportunity to apply to undertake sleep-in shifts, currently paid at a rate of £70.47 per night.

Waking Night Carers

£80.80 - £90.80 per 10-hour shift depending on age, qualifications and experience.

Usually, waking night carers are assigned to one service and work three nights on followed by three nights off.

What you will need:

* Our client wants to hear from warm, compassionate people who genuinely care about helping and supporting others, people who see beyond labels and stereotypes and value people as equals no matter their need, identity or disability.

* Applicants need to enjoy working as part of a team and want to strive to support their team’s work. They must be honest and reliable.

* Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities is desirable although other relevant caring experiences will be considered.
