Suicide Bereavement Project Lead 

Salary:   £ 23,783.58 Pro-rata
Hours: Part Time 22.5hrs 
Location: Norwich

We are a leading mental health charity in Norwich and central Norfolk, providing services which make a real difference to peoples lives. We are a flexible and supportive employer providing excellent supervision and a good training package.

The Job Within this role you will co-ordinate and manage a brand new 8-month pilot project offering support to people that have been bereaved or affected by suicide within the Norwich & Central Norfolk Mind catchment area.  This will be a weekly group based in Norwich and one other group in and around Norfolk.  The groups will give people the opportunity to meet others who have lost someone to suicide and share their experience and feelings within a safe and supportive environment.

You will be responsible for implementation, planning and evaluation of the project.  To work with local organisations and build partnerships.  Oversee the project including budget control, maintaining good practice and safeguarding procedures within group sessions.  The project is initially for 8 months but the role will also work towards securing further funding and researching other opportunities for the project to continue past the end date.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and well organised individual for three days a week. We require an experienced individual to facilitate group sessions.  The successful applicant will be required to support group attendees with their mental and physical well-being, and provide crisis interventions if required.
