Students Union Administrator (Temporary)
£23,754 to £27,511 per annum

Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) is a successful specialist university, offering high-quality education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our dynamic, contemporary and creative provision in arts, design, architecture and media is delivered from a unique campus in the heart of the City of Norwich. Teaching at NUA is recognised as being of the very highest standard, and this was confirmed with the University achieving a Gold Award against the metrics of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2017.

The Students Union supports and represents students and aims to make their experience of the University as exciting and rewarding as possible.  The Union is responsible for all student involvement; this ranges from coordinating Student Representatives and aiding communication with the University.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced administrator to provide a comprehensive administrative service to support the Universitys Students Union (NUASU) and its President. This role will provide support for all aspects of the day-to-day business of the Union, including financial, secretarial and website support. The postholder will assist with Union events, clubs and societies as well as providing information and guidance to students seeking support.

Educated to A level standard or equivalent, you will have experience within a busy office environment, have excellent communication and IT skills, be able to prioritise your work effectively to meet strict deadlines and work flexibly as part of a small team.  You will have the ability to handle multiple tasks and be confident and personable. You will be process orientated but able to see the bigger picture as well as the detail.  Experience of working in a similar position would be an advantage.

This vacancy has arisen due to the postholder covering a period of maternity leave.  The duration of employment will be dependent on the length of the maternity period.

Closing date:  5.00 pm on Monday 9th December 2019
Interview date: Tuesday 17th December 2019
