We currently have an exciting opportunity for a special educational needs (SEN) administrator to join our committed and hardworking team at Jane Austen College.

The successful candidate will support the SENCO with the implementation of a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum for students with SEN across the school, including drawing up and maintaining Care Plans for students who need them. There will also be involvement in assessing and identifying students with barriers to learning, as well as designing and implementing appropriate short-term targets to meet the needs of our students with SEN.

You will work with our teachers to implement effective teaching approaches for pupils with identified barriers to learning, and support the SENCO to prepare paperwork for EHCPs and referrals to outside agencies.

Candidates need to have a minimum of GCSE grade C for English and maths or equivalent. Experience of working with students with special educational needs would be of benefit, although training will be provided as necessary.

If you think that you have the skills and attributes for this exciting new role we would be pleased to hear from you.
