Service Co-ordinator Pitkin & Ruddock provide complete temperature control solutions, services and maintenance to all our customers in the East Anglia region and across the UK. Our company was established in 1954 and we pride ourselves in helping businesses big and small. We are looking for experienced Service Co-ordinator to join our growing team based at our Lowestoft office.

We are looking for an experienced Service Co-ordinator to organise our engineering team. You will work closely with the Branch Manager to plan and schedule service, maintenance and installation work.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Organising Engineers daily work schedules.
  • Receiving incoming telephone calls from customers, placing service calls and progressing work.
  • Procurement of equipment, services and sub-contractors.
  • Processing paperwork for clients and engineers.
  • Imputing data into the in-house systems.
  • Dealing with new and existing customers needs.
  • Researching of new customers and identify areas that can be developed.
  • Liaise with the Branch Manager on client feedback, sales opportunities and developments.

Skills and attributes required:

  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Have a flexible and self motivated approach.
  • A good telephone manner is required as the majority of customer contact is by telephone.
  • Proficient use of various computerised office systems and other IT will be required.
  • The ability to handle various tasks in a busy customer orientated environment is essential.
  • Ability to organise varying work loads and manage planned work schedules.
  • A good knowledge of Health & Safety within the workplace.
  • Ability to support other team members with their own development and training programmes.
  • Clean driving licence. 

This is a full-time position working 08:00 - 17:00 with a one hour lunch break, offering a competitive salary, depending on experience.
